MMTPT322 - TSC, After the Rain:

Hi Everybody...Welcome to my world!

I so much enjoy the teapotters Tickle me's...this is my second one, I don't have the time to join in every week...so I like to be able to get the tickle me one in.

This time we are to do something associated with rain...I chose to do SU'S Ark.

This is my card:

This was a fun card to do...I started out with the BG...sponged a sun, and sky, they are under the velum clouds( which are SU's ef, I coloured the backside of the clouds with white Copic paint, comes in a jar)

I also sponged white SU ink on the waves with a make up sponge.

I painted the ark, and fussy cut it out...

Now for the story:

Can't find Noah, He's somewhere on the ark hunting for two stowaway mosquitoes! He's looked high and low...But they are very well hid...their passports are null...their  pictures were blurred, and we all know ya got to be able to see the eyes.

Sure hope he finds them before they find land...the rain has stopped and the dove has been sent out...so time is running out! Oh well....I think we all know the rest of the story....Ouch!!

Recipe:
Stamps: SU's Congratulations,
Paper: WC paper for base, SU Baja (retired) Mustard for Sun & BG, Navy, and Vellum.
Ink: Copics, SU's Blues for sky BG. Copic white for clouds,
Accessories: Spellbinders Waves, Sheer two-toned ribbon, Inabilities Sponger brush, scissors, Foam Tape, Liquid Glue, Glue gun & Love!

Birthday Shoes...

Hi Everyone.......I better post before I forget how...Getting terrible unless in a challenge....I did a birthday card for a dear friend...and she loves shoes...she still waiting for Prince Charming....

So here is my card for her...

I cased this card from Debbie Stevens...the gal with beautiful cards, and many layers....she had a card with a gorgeous shoe.....Cinderella got that one...so I had to look for another...

Many layers...and lots of cutting....But it turned out really pretty....I love Cinderella's shoe too..

Now Prince Charming better find the match to this one...and claim that girl...before she gets away!!

I sprayed the white flower with glimmer mist and was so pleased it turned out the same colour, as the shoe, and it  was found on pintrest, printed out and fussy cut...whew...the lil strip of leather on arch was a close one....

Inside the card it says..."Cinderella is proof that a pair of shoes can change your life!!

The rest of the story is history....

Thanks for looking....this was a fun and awesome card to make...I'll have to try a few more of these many layers cards...

MMPTP317, TSC0829, Teapot Hoedown?

Hi Everyone...Time for another post, summer is waning...and the busy slowing down...

I have a card here...I have to smile at this one...poor farmer George...

I finally got the chance to play in the Teapot Tuesday...been awhile...so got real excited....

Yee haw...I hear there's a Hoedown, and farmer George seems confused... He doesn't realize the barn is for the Hoedown dance, and the hoe for weeding in the garden...He thought the Hoedown was the weeding...not the dance?...now whose confused...lol

Although he did wear his brand new coveralls with the new material... and he did bring his trusty Hoe...but...wrong dance me thinks?? Someone better fill him in...

And...the twisted Sisters TSC0829 is to use material on your card... that's why farmer George has new Coveralls...His wife did done some shopping!! Trust the lil woman to take care of business... now she needs a new Gingham Dress...don't you think?

Oh the material on farmer George's coveralls and hat to match...great lil shooper of a wife there...are material from a friends dress...I used the backside....of the material that is......lol
What an awesome fun challenge...

Come and join us for both of the challenges...

Wheelbarrow Birthday -

Hi Everyone...been such a busy and hot summer...haven't gotten much posting done in the past while...

I have a card here I did for a friend...who ordered it for a special lady...

This is an easel card... lots of fun and work...I typed the words on the computer, made the pond with the same effect as the clouds..using a piece of paper towel, and sponging ink on it...

The flowers on the pond I made with a punch...the larger flowers were stickers...and they all matched very well with the sunflowers that came in the wheelbarrow...

This show the easel card flolded up...and shows more of the 3d wheelbarrow, they come on a sheet, which you put together with foam tape, and make a 3d wheelbarrow full of flowers...

I used white paper, sponged clouds on that...and ot was all put on a easel vbase made from WC paper...give it a good sturdy base.

I made the grass with a MS grass punch...and made many rows...different colours of green...

the lil bee was a sticker...

"Running Wild" :

Hi Everyone....I am so behind in my posts...

But here is another one I had fun with...

I did this one for my son-in-law.....

and did one in blue for my grandson in law...this is the one in blue...

I used the sponge that comes on a handle, called: Inkessentials, my braying technique is rather poor...

I did 8 of these cards...everyone wanted one....and I'm sure they all turned out just a little different!

The colours on the red one were, More Mustard, Cajun craze, and Cherry Cobbler, and baked sugar, and black....

Thanks for Looking...
Blessings:
