ODBDSLC116 - Clouds or Sun

Hi Everyone..
Welcome to my world.... Come and visit for awhile....and join us in the challenge this week:

This week's challenge:
We would like to see clouds or sunshine on your creation.  These can be on your designer paper, be cut or sponged or be part of your coloring or stamping.

To make the challenge even more fun, we will be giving out a prize, $15 gift certificate to be used toward stamps at the Our Daily Bread Designs store!! Entries for thprize must be submitted by Sunday, July 22nd at 8 p.m. EST. One random winner will be chosen and announced next Saturday.

While it is not required to use Our Daily Bread Designs images and sentiments on your creations, we would love to see them if you have them. As a way of recognizing those who do use Our Daily Bread Designs stamps, we will again be choosing three or more of our participants  for the  Shining the Light Award . In order to qualify for this award or join the challenge, however, you must use Our Daily Bread stamps and have your submission added to Mr. Linky by Sunday, July 22nd at 8 p.m. EST. If you upload your creations to Splitcoast Stampers or any other online gallery, please use the keyword is ODBDSLC116.  When creating your posts on blogs please include a link to the challenge.

This is my take on the challenge......I chose to do clouds

My card is a shaped card...<---- here is a tutorial on that...
I chose the largest Die in the Spellbinders # 17, and ran it through my die cut Machine just leaving a little out of the cut to make an edge for standing...you can see this at the top...

After colouring my card........I noticed it looked so peaceful and serene...so I didn't want to add alot of bling, but it had to have a bow...so hard to do a card without a bow or lace...but this one didn't require lace...also the verse is from the set, but I only used the first part of the verse...lack of room mostly.

Recipe:
ODBD Stamp Set: Quiet Waters
Paper: Navy, Blue DSP, Copic White(for Image),  Whisper White,
Ink: Memento Black, Copics, Navy for sponging
Accessories: Spellbinders # 17, Big Shot, Navy Satin Ribbon, Foam Tape, Liquid Glue, &  Love.

What rich lovely colors you have used for this scene...I just got this and have only had the chance to use it once, I will use yours for inspiration on my next card. Great shape and love the way you have tucked the sentiment into the corner with such a nice die. Beautiful.
