Hi Everyone...Welcome to my blog world....the new challenge for the coming week is......
to use sponging on your creation.
To make the challenge even more fun, we will be giving out a prize, a $15 gift certificate to be used toward stamps at the Our Daily Bread Designs store!! Entries for the prize must be submitted by Sunday, August 19th at 8 p.m. EST. One random winner will be chosen and announced next Saturday.
This is my take on the challenge:
I created the BG by sponging on a piece of white CS...
Take a piece a little bigger than the card size, and crumple it all up, lay it flat and smooth down just a bit...and then I sponged Ranger Distress Inks with my sponge brush...and kinda swirl the ink around...I used 3 different colours, 2 in the pinks and one Purple.
Then I ironed it flat between 2 pieces of paper........and it comes out like a marble effect...never 2 pieces alike...
After doing that I then finished the rest of the card by adding the verse...(which I kept small so as not to block the sponging) and the rest of the bling.
Its alot of fun...and you can do any colour combination.
