For the Love of Blessings, Blog Hop

Hi Everyone....Welcome to my blog this Thursday....We have another hop for you...

Welcome to Our Daily Bread Design's Alumni Team's bi-monthly For the Love Blog Hop.  This week the Alumni team along with some of the ODBD designers are featuring a hop For the Love of The Blessings Collection! Check out each link and leave a comment. If you get lost along the way, check the ODBD blog for full list of links.  One of the post is a hop hot spot and a name will be drawn from that list of comments to win a $15 ODBD store gift certificate.  So, all you have to do is hop along and see all the creations and leave a little love!  You have until Wednesday, October 10th at 6 pm.   Enjoy all the beautiful designs using For the Love of The Blessings Collection!

If you came from Deb's beautiful card....your in the right place!
If not ..just go back to ODBD and start from there again.

This is the set I chose to showcase for the hop...the set I used is                                 "Count the Waves"

I did a very simple card for the hop, and chose to focus more on the painting of the scene...and put it on an easel card, it was suppose to be larger...but a little drop of white paint in the wrong place......made a square (instead of a rectangle) card......lol...stuff happens.

I used a torn piece of paper towel to make the clouds....

The card went to a fellow from our church for his birthday...so I hope he likes it!

A closeup of the main scene....and the set is used on the easel bottom...                       If you want to know
                                    How much I love you,
                                    "Count the Waves."

I so love this stamp set...its peaceful just looking at it and God's wonderful handiwork when he created our world...he did a perfect job!! I pray we don't destroy it....

Beautiful coloring of the image, looks almost like a photo, like how you used the sentiment on the inside to not take away from the image
