I did a second card for the challenge, not sure which one I like the best....
I changed it up a bit.....tried to show more lake, less grass, and a little more snow..changed the verse...added a few birds...
Thanks for looking...Blessings & Hugs

This is my take on the Challenge Titled:
"First Snow"

First I sponged the sky on Express it paper with a torn paper towel, and SU bashful blue ink:

I Used two sets for the scenery, Keep climbing, & Fathers Day, the sentiment is from the add on set to Keep Climbing - called Mountains.

Then  I stamped the mountains once, then slid it over and used my stamp a  ma jig, to position and stamped a little more mountains in SU Not Quite Navy, then I stamped the Moose, coloured and cut it out,and then popped it up with foam tape, and placed on a few leaves...I tried to make it blend in to look like a lake in the BG.  I don't have my green flower soft yet, so tried to use green felt, and flowery flower soft to make like the edge of the lake, and still a few flowers left before the snow covered them....its so sad...we already have snow at our place, and my flowers are all gone...

This card went to a fellow who is battling cancer: And the friend who gave it to him, thought the verse was very fitting!!

The verse is the first one:

Recipe:
ODBD Stamp sets used:  Keep Climbing, Father's Day, Mountain
Paper: Heavy Manga for Base, Not Quite Navy, Black, Copic Express it( for Copic colouring)
Ink: Copics, Stazon Black for sentiment, Bashful Blue for (Sponging the Sky),
Accessories: Paper towel, Flower soft, Green Flocking, Spellbinders Foliage 2, MS leaf Punch, Foam Tape, Liquid Glue, & Love.

I dont know what to say. This blog is fantastic. Thats not really a really huge statement, but its all I could come up with after reading this. You know so much about this subject. So much so that you made me want to learn more about it. Your blog is my stepping stone, my friend. Thanks for the heads up on this subject.
