ODBDSLC126 - A Sketch

the challenge this week over at ODBD  is A Sketch



To make the challenge even more fun, we will be giving out a prize$15 gift certificate to be used toward stamps at the Our Daily Bread Designs store!! Entries for thprize must be submitted by Sunday, October 21st at 8 p.m. EST. One random winner will be chosen and announced next Saturday. 

While it is not required to use Our Daily Bread Designs images and sentiments on your creations, we would love to see them if you have them. As a way of recognizing those who do use Our Daily Bread Designs stamps, we will again be choosing three or more of our participants  for the  Shining the Light Award . In order to qualify for this award or join the challenge, however, you must use Our Daily Bread stamps and have your submission added to Mr. Linky by Sunday,  October 21st at 8 p.m. EST. If you upload your creations to Splitcoast Stampers or any other online gallery, please use the keyword is ODBDSLC126.  When creating your posts on blogs please include a link to the challenge.


This is my take on the challenge:



 I just love this set...I goofed a little on the colouring...and got mama and baby both in blue...not the same colour...but very close...oops...better plan ahead next time...

I enjoy learning how to use copics, I look for how too's all the time, and pick up pointers...watercolours are softer, which I love also...but I think I need a lesson on colour Matching...

ODBD Stamp Sets:  Joy to the World, & Ornaments 2
Paper:  Copic Express it, Manga 150# for base, DSP, 
Ink: Copics, SU Basic Gray, Garden Green,
Accessories: Spellbinders Circles, Poinsettia Button ( I cut of the plastic loop on botton, whire you would put your thread for sewing), MS leaf Punch, Silver wired Ribbon, Friskars scissors for trim on bottom, Leaves from SU Set(Christmas Lodge) Glue Gun, Liquid Glue, Foam Tape, Pearls, & Love

What a beautiful Christmas card!! I just love your coloring of the nativity scene!! What a perfect take on the sketch!! Your gray hues with the poinsettia and pearls are a perfect accent.
