ODBDSLC108 - Inspired By Mother's Day Gifts

This week's challenge:
Tomorrow is Mother's Day- since most have already made cards for their moms, we want you to use one of the photos to inspire your creation.  Please let us know what number you used.

To make the challenge even more fun, we will be giving out a prize, $15 gift certificate to be used toward stamps at the Our Daily Bread Designs store!! Entries for thprize must be submitted by Friday, May 18th at 8 a.m. EST. One random winner will be chosen and announced next Saturday.

While it is not required to use Our Daily Bread Designs images and sentiments on your creations, we would love to see them if you have them. As a way of recognizing those who do use Our Daily Bread Designs stamps, we will again be choosing three or more of our participants  for the  Shining the Light Award . In order to qualify for this award or join the challenge, however, you must use Our Daily Bread stamps and have your submission added to Mr. Linky by Friday, May 18th at 8 a.m. EST. If you upload your creations to Splitcoast Stampers or any other online gallery, please use the keyword is ODBDSLC108. When creating your posts on blogs please include a link to the challenge.

I was inspired by Photo #1 ...A beautiful bouquet of flowers:
This is my take on the challenge:

I chose to lighten the flowers from the deep burgundy to Cobble Red, and a little more of a yellow.

Here is a close up of the foliage:

Recipe:
ODBD Stamps Used: Flourished Verses,
Paper: Cherry Cobble, White, Garden Green, Moss,
Ink: Cherry Cobble, Daffodil,
Accessories: Satin Ribbon, Lace, MS Leaf  & Hydrangea Punches,  Spellbinder Leaf Die, Under neath all the foliage, used as a base to start with) SU leaf Die, Dimensionals, Liquid Glue, Bow Easy. and Liquid Pearls.

I started my Floral Spray, with the Spellbinder Leaf Die, and build up from there (although its almost buried, it added the depth) adding Leaf Branches, and SU leaf Die, then some blooms etc.

Punched out some buds with the 1/8th  hole punch, and pushed them down on some foam with the end of a crochet hook,
Added Liquid pearls to the centers.

Thanks for stopping by!! We hope you will join us for this week's challenge.  We can't wait to see your creation!!

Blessings & Hugs
