ODBDSLC131 - Holiday

Hello to all who enter here...
May you be blessed, and filled with Christmas cheer...

We have a new challenge this week and its..... 


This week's challenge:  
 Create a winter holiday card or project. (Christmas or Thanksgiving)
To make the challenge even more fun, we will be giving out a prize$15 gift certificate to be used toward stamps at the Our Daily Bread Designs store!! Entries for thprize must be submitted by Sunday, November 25th at 8 p.m. EST. One random winner will be chosen and announced next Saturday. 

While it is not required to use Our Daily Bread Designs images and sentiments on your creations, we would love to see them if you have them. As a way of recognizing those who do use Our Daily Bread Designs stamps, we will again be choosing three or more of our participants  for the  Shining the Light Award . In order to qualify for this award or join the challenge, however, you must use Our Daily Bread stamps and have your submission added to Mr. Linky by Sunday,  November 25th at 8 p.m. EST. If you upload your creations to Splitcoast Stampers or any other online gallery, please use the keyword is ODBDSLC131.  When creating your posts on blogs please include a link to the challenge.



This is my take on the challenge...



Oh Come, Oh Come Emmanuel.....





I just love this set.... When I think about it...Mary was so blessed to be able to care and nurture our Lord...what an awesome calling upon her life...

and to be able to say to  him to "Don`t slam the door Jesus!... Where you born in a barn?"....lol

This set is such a joy to work with...I tried to create a manger scene....

Jan, My first thought was about the beautiful blue bow and the halo over the Christ Child's head.
It was as if arms were wrapped around him. The sentiment is timeless. All your lovey details really make this a very remarkable card. We are sso thankful you linked with us at WAW.
