QFTD170 & Anniversary Cruise:

Hi Everyone...happy long weekend for Canadians...July 1st, Canada Day...And Happy July 4th for Americans....

I have a card I did for QFTD Lori.....yahhhh Congrats!!
This is. Lori's Card...

And this is the card I did....

Its also for my Mom & Pops anniversary...and they went on a cruise to celebrate.....So I borrowed the center idea of Lori's card, to make a postcard (anniversary card) for my Mom & Pops...

I used new Postcard Stamp set from SU, and the old one called Postage Due, and two of SU's new colours, cantaloupe & Brown Sugar..and a set of cruise ship stickers from Michaels....

This is really not my style....kinda mixing of colours....but I had the idea, so went with it...I hope they like it...its much different than flowers...

Recipe:
Stamp Sets: SU Postcard & Postage Due
Paper: New: Crisp Cantaloupe & Baked Brown Sugar...(.I really like the new in-colors at SU! )and Black.
Ink: Crisp Cantaloupe, Baked Brown Sugar,
Accessories: Stickers from Michaels, Foam Tape, Liquid Glue.

Thanks for looking.....

Blessings:

Jan

Hi Jan - I love your collage type card and I think your parents will love it too. Very fun and creative. Thanks for visiting my blog. That last card you were asking about was done with regular ink pads and then white acrylic paint on top. It was fun. You should try it. It's fun to get a little messy and crazy sometimes. :>) Hope your holidays were nice. Hugs, Kim
