I have a card here I did for our Twisted Sistah's Challenge:
This is for my son...who has a birthday this weekend...I'm not sure I like the colour choice,
I got my burlap from my DD in our Anniversary parcel, and was so excited so wanted to layer some on the card, so tried to dye it blue....and it didn't turn out like I planned...but one can see a splotch of blue....
I used a few different coloured blues, cause so hard to match, so if one keeps them in the family they go well together:
Recipe:
Stamp Sets: ODBD The Mighty Sea, Bird in the 1:50 bin at Michaels

Ink: Little copic on small birds to make stand out, Memento London Fog, NQN for sponging, and Large Bird,
Accessories: Burlap, Button, bakers Twine, EF swirls, Glue Gun, Liquid Glue, Foam Tape, & Love:
Thanks for looking...comments always welcome:

Very nice beach scene :)
This is really lovely Jan. Your son will be delighted with it.
Very pretty Jan. The colors are perfect for a guy card. I love the idea of the bird carrying the sentiment. It really looks pretty in front of the Mighty Sea.
I think your son will be happy to get so warm card! My best wishes!
I love all nuances of blue!
