I have a special card to post, its for my mom's 85th birthday, and also for our twisted Sistah's challenge, which was to make a card using flowers & Ribbon....
You are all encouraged to join the challenge, just put in the letters, TSC0517
here is my take on the challenge:
I also have lace on my card...hope that passes ok, I sponged the large flower in Pretty in Pink, it was white, I love this softness of this BG paper, and my stash is now depleted, have to go a hunting....
to put wax paper in front of the picture, and it cut the wax paper and the CS together, and then your CS pops out alot easier instead of ripping like it did for me.
I Hope you all have a good day....here's the recipe:
Stamps: ODBD, Happy Birthday,
Paper: White, Pink, DSP from stash,
Ink: Black Archival, pretty in pink for sponging flowers & leaves,
Accessories: Spellbinders Octet Die & Labels 2 Dies, MS Butterfly Punch & leaf punch, Spellbinders Leaf Die, Pearls, Lace, Ribbon, Foam Tape, Liquid Glue, Glue Gun, & Love!
Thanks for Looking
Blessings to all,
Jan

Beautiful card, Jan! I think you know by now, how I love PINK! (favorite color) I like the lace and softness of this card!

Absolutely gorgeous card Jan.

This is just beautiful. I'm sure your mom will love it!
Yes...using wax paper on your die is the ticket. I so many times forget to do it until I'm struggling to get my paper out of the die cut. LOL!
Hugs...Leanne
Beautiful card, Jan! I came to meet you after seeing the stunning card you sent to Jill, our Queen for the Day!! Thanks for the reminder about the wax paper. I keep forgetting about that.
Hello, Jan! So sweet, delicate and gentle card, everything is beautiful!!!!
I use silicon spray to help myself to get dies. Spray it on the cutting side of a die, and it will be easy to cut for several times.
What a fabulous card Jan I'm sure your mom will just adore it....so pretty :) Viv xx
